The Wesley Center is a peaceful gathering place conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Louisiana. As a retreat and conference center we offer a unique atmosphere conducive to events of all kinds, both day meetings and overnight retreats.
Our wide range of accommodations make it possible for groups to create an experience that will satisfy their expectations and needs.
Since our opening in December 1996, we have hosted events for church and non-church groups alike, including diverse denominations, professional organizations, civic groups and clubs, educational organizations, social service agencies and other
non-profit groups.
From large meetings for various denominations and organizations to small get-togethers for spiritual retreats and civic groups, we take pride in creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
20 multidemensional rooms serve groups ranging from two to 500. Each can be set with tables, chairs, microphones and other audio visual equipment to meet your needs.
Two spacious lodges house 64 hotel style rooms with occupancy capacities of 1 to 4 people per room. The rooms are furnished with two double beds or one double & two twins.
Overnight guests enjoy private baths, linen service, balconies & patios, an indoor fitness center, and ice & vending machines. Additionally, a hospitality kitchenette is located adjacent to the lobby of each lodge and is furnished with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee.
Delicious meals accentuate our southern hospitality. For lunch and dinner, guests are offered a full salad bar, a choice of two entrees, two vegetables, two starches, and a dessert. All are served buffet style. Breakfast menu choices include fresh fruit, yogurt, bacon, sausage, biscuits, pancakes, grits, and cereal. Morning, afternoon and evening snack choices are also available.
Our staff will work with each event leader to plan the perfect menu.
Centrally located in the heart of Louisiana, just 10 minutes from Alexandria and close to Interstate 49, the Wesley Center is two hours from Baton Rouge, Shreveport and Monroe; providing easy access from most major cities in the state.
